Why do we process your data (purpose of processing) and what is the legal basis for processing?

We process personal data in accordance with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

The legal basis for consent is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter a, Article 7 GDPR and Section 25 Paragraph 1 TTDSG,

the legal basis for processing to fulfill our services and carry out contractual measures is Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b GDPR,

the legal basis for processing to fulfill our legal obligations is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. c GDPR, and

the legal basis for processing to safeguard our legitimate interests is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR or Section 25 Para. 2 TTDSG.

What data do we process when you visit our website?

When using our website for information purposes only, we process the data that your browser transmits to our server and that is technically required to display our website to you and to ensure stability and security.

Which data do we process when contacting you?

When you contact us by e-mail or telephone, the data you provide (e.g. e-mail address, name, telephone number) will be processed by us in order to answer your questions and/or process your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b GDPR.

What data do we process to process the contract?

If you assign your claim to passenger compensation to us, we will process your contact, communication, contract and flight data (e.g. flight number, date, time). Your contact and flight data are required for the conclusion of the contract. It is not possible to conclude a contract without providing this information. The legal basis is the existing contractual relationship (Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b GDPR).

For how long do we store your data?

Your personal data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the purposes mentioned.

However, we may have to store your data until the retention periods stipulated by law have expired. These periods are usually between six and ten years.

Who receives your data?

As part of the data processing mentioned above and the respective legal bases, your data may be passed on to service providers, e.g. B. for the provision of the website, the sending of newsletters, the processing of feedback.
